Locals Only

Graphic Illustration

This design is a playful nod to life in the mountains, where crossing paths with a bear isn’t unusual. I wanted to create something that feels fun, a little cheeky, and still carries a message. The illustration combines simple, bold linework with a cozy, campfire vibe to keep it approachable and eye-catching. Beyond the humour, it’s a reminder to respect the locals, specifically the wildlife. Bears deserve space, not selfies, and it’s important that visitors enjoy Whistler while keeping the animals safe.

Maybe I will turn this into a real graphic print? Who wants a t-shirt?!
