Whistler Winterlight

For this project, I designed the logo for Whistler Winterlight, a new event created in 2024, put on by the Resort Municipality of Whistler. The design needed to reflect the event’s fun, vibrant atmosphere while complementing the existing Tourism Whistler's Light Up the Village campaign.

Inspired by the idea of beacons of light and the energy of winter nights, I created a neon-style wordmark paired with bold colours and glowing effects. The logo evokes a sense of excitement while aligning with the event’s purpose to brighten the Plaza, and mark the start of the winter season. It's not everyday you see a ferris wheel in the village!
